Paul Sykes relieved to make move from Bradford Bulls to Wakefield permanent

Paul Sykes played 22 games on the trot during his Wakefield loan spell
Paul Sykes is breathing a sigh of relief after making his move to Wakefield permanent.
The goal-kicking stand-off amassed 155 points in 22 matches for the Wildcats after joining them on loan from the Bulls in March and has now signed a contract for 2013.
Sykes scored in every game of his loan spell and landed last-gasp drop goals to win matches against St Helens and Hull KR that ultimately took them into the play-offs for only the third time.
“I’m so pleased it’s all done and dusted,” said 31-year-old Sykes, who also played for London Broncos and represented England in the 2008 World Cup.
“I didn’t know if I was going back to Bradford or going to get the opportunity to sign for Wakefield, so I am glad it’s over the line now.
“I wasn’t playing much at Bradford, so to play 22 games on the trot at Wakefield was pretty exciting times for myself. I really enjoyed my time on loan so I just wanted it to continue.”
Wakefield coach Richard Agar added: “We’re pleased to get the deal done.
“The change of environment has been really good for Paul and he’s enjoyed his football with us. He became an integral part of what we’re trying to achieve.
“He has found his role in our team and complemented the styles of the players around him, as well as giving us an all-important kicking game.”

And as for the Bulls being a crap club I think you will struggle to find a club in this country that has support & passion like our great club has, we may have been knock down but for sure we are bouncing right back. Show some respect bullboydonegud why post pointless comments that mean nothing & only act in making you look like a fool.
Only to be expected from the likes of you. An unread, ignorant fool, who knows nothing about what goes on at Odsal. As to the players that have gone, well, two retired from the game to explore other avenues, miners in Oz earn far more per annum than RL players, so do personnal trainers. The rest have done what anyone else would have done, been offered more money, so as RL players only have a short playing career it is as well to look after number one. If you work, which I doubt, and some other employer in your field offers you MORE to work for him what do you do??? Me I'd move on, money talks and your families come first. So, thicko, I have just disproved all you are trying to imply. By the way you're about two weeks behind the times, with this pointless post. So go and troll on another site.
