Mick Potter makes five changes to Bradford Bulls side

Mick Potter made five changes to his 17 for the Bulls’ must-win match against Catalan Dragons in Perpignan this afternoon.

Jamie Langley and John Karl Pryce were missing through injury and Craig Kopczak was also absent after apparently terminating his contract with the club.

Shaun Ainscough was dropped and there was no place for Ben Jeffries, opening the door for Jarrod Sammut to start at stand-off and Elliot Kear on the right flank.

The absence of Kopczak allowed Phil Joseph and Nick Scruton to earn inclusion among the replacements, while fit-again Michael Platt replaced Pryce in the centres.

Catalan-bound Olivier Elima was among a number players making potentially their last appearance for the Bulls.

The Bulls went into the game knowing that victory was vital if they were to stand any hope of pipping Wakefield to the final play-off spot.

Bulls:  Kearney, Kear, Platt, Lulia, Crookes, Jeffries, Gale, Manuokafoa, L’Estrange, Hargreaves, Olbison, Whitehead, Elima
Interchange: Diskin, Scruton, Joseph, Walker

3 attacks, 3 tries so far for Catalans, if our defensive coach, Lee St Hilaire is still not getting paid then it's still too much.
