Bradford Bulls: Craig Kopczak just can’t get enough rugby league

Fit-again Bulls prop Craig Kopczak is hoping his season can continue far beyond the end of the regular Super League season.

He wants to make the play-offs and pick up where he left off on the international front with Wales.

Kopczak made an impressive return from injury during last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Warrington.

He created a try for Elliott White-head with a fine break and intelligent offload, showing no signs of ring-rustiness after six games on the sidelines due to an ankle injury.

With fellow front-rower Nick Scruton also returning to action after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, the Bulls were given a timely on-field boost as they continue to battle desperately for survival off it.

Kopczak, whose reputation soared after some excellent displays for Wales during the Gillette Four Nations last autumn, said: “There’s still a lot for me to play for personally this year.

“Ideally I’d like to help Bradford to make the play-offs and then take a bit of form into the Three Nations with Wales.

“To play against England and France would be a real honour.

“To pits my wits against New Zealand and Australia last year – coming up against some of the best players in the world – was fantastic.

“At Wales, we’re building now towards next year’s World Cup and there are a lot of good things happening behind the scenes.

“We’re getting strong and stronger with a lot of really talented Welsh rugby league players coming through now and I’m looking forward to pulling the jersey on again.”

Totally agree with Koppys comments he is one of the most improved players over the last 12 months. Hopefully he will be a bulls player for many years to come if we can find a buyer.
Keep it up Koppy!!!
