London Broncos 22 Bradford Bulls 29

Michael Platt claimed a superb four-try haul as the Bulls bounced back from a woeful start to claim victory against London Broncos at Brisbane Road.

The hosts led 16-0 after 10 minutes following tries from Michael Robertson, Matt Cook and Michael Channing but the Bulls gradually steadied themselves and made their class pay.

Karl Pryce touched down in the left corner and Platt grabbed his first before the Broncos scored again through Michael Witt.

Yet Platt scored twice either side of the interval and claimed his fourth but the Bulls held firm and a late penalty and drop-goal from ex-London scrum-half Luke Gale confirmed a fifth away win of the season.

Well done Platt! I thought he might be let go at end of season but this and one or two earlier performances suggest he might be staying. Can anyone say if he played full back?

Platt played center with Ainscough as his winger. Elliott Kear played Fullback.

did really well after the dismal start we gave ourselves ,how many times has this happened against London poor starts then second half rally to win,, ,please please please dont give starts away like this my heart cannot take it,big well done to all especially Platty ,IMO this could be the turning point of season a win like this builds up the confidence more than an easy win.

a game we would have lost last year.... were 3 quality players off a very good squad and to play like we have with the injuries and everything else means happy days could soon return

Agree with the above, I think gale returning will give us more in the 2nd half the season than we've seen thus far and we will get better. Hope Kearney can get back soon as he gives us a lot too. COYB!!!!

Most likely their best win of the season, so far. Completely dominating the hosts after giving them a sixteen point start. I was pleased with the Bulls' discipline and they executed the game plan well. In my opinion, the Bulls' will at worst vie with Hull KR for eighth spot and, subject to no slip-ups against the bottom five and wins against top six opposition, could end up as high as sixth. All in all, a pleasing result. Well done!

Kear is a better fullback than Kearney (he should be in the halves). Both his defensive & attack is better

Interesting point made just above - bearing in mind we are short in the halves and Kearney is undoubtedly a class act maybe MP will think it worth pairing him and Gale at half back and giving Kear a run at FB.

Great recovery from terrible start - might not have happened last year. Platty has earned his squad place - none of his tries was easy. Thought Kear was excellent at FB, always a danger going forward and very sound under high ball. Gale and Pryce also made good returns to London. Disappointments were Elima who didn't look interested and Ainscough who could have scored twice if he hadn't dropped the pass and also looked very vulnerable to high ball. But overall a great result!
