Bradford Bulls 72 Doncaster 6

Shaun Ainscough and Elliott Whitehead both scored hat-tricks as the Bulls demolished Championship One part-timers Doncaster in the Carnegie Challenge Cup this afternoon.

Ainscough was deployed at full-back and capped a fine personal performance with three clinical scores, while Whitehead was similarly deadly from right centre.

Matt Diskin and Keith Lulia claimed two tries apiece, and there were further scores for Craig Kopczak, Ben Jeffries and John Bateman as Bradford booked their place in Monday's fifth-round draw.

Doncaster, missing playmaker Paul Cooke due to injury, stunned Odsal by taking a shock first-minute lead when prop Russ Spiers burrowed over from close range.

Former Bradford academy product Keiran Hyde added the conversion but the response from the Bulls could hardly have been more emphatic as their Super League class told.

Rookie Callum Windley showed some promising touches after coming off the bench in the first half before being replaced by Diskin shortly before the hour mark.
