Manase Manuokafoa is in line to make his Bulls debut after being named in the 19-man squad for Saturday’s home clash with leaders Warrington.

The giant prop, signed from Parramatta on a one-year deal, tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during a training session shortly before Christmas.

But he played in last week’s Under-20s game against Wakefield and may feature against Warrington in tonight’s Under-20s clash as he steps up his match fitness ahead of Saturday’s Super League clash.

Olivier Elima, Adam O’Brien and Tom Olbison remain long-term injury absentees while Luke Gale will be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks and Chev Walker misses out again due to a hamstring strain.

Bulls squad: Addy, Bateman, Burgess, Crookes, Diskin, Hargreaves, Jeffries, Joseph, Kear, Kearney, Kopczak, Langley, L'Estrange, Lulia, Manuokafoa, Platt, Sammut, Scruton, Whitehead

Birkybull - probably for the best bearing in mind how far he has slipped out of the reckoning.

Good to see Bateman getting another run out on Saturday, but up against 2 very experienced and powerful second rowers, but hopefully Nas will make a much anticipated impact off the bench.

Lets face it we were holding Wigan for the first twenty till we lost Gale, and 2 kicks missed touch. Hopefully we can learn from that huge error and take the game to Wire. They are only human.

Did anybody see Manuokafoa play for the u20s? No mention of how he played in T & A or on Bulls website! Hope he is fully fit.

Which 2 will they leave out? Maybe Platt & Addy? Whitehead can play centre and his defense may be better than Platt's. Addy not played for a while and who would he replace, one of the props?

Manuokafoa in for Joseph in my opinion.

Just checked the Wolves website and Michael Monaghan isn't in their squad.

It's a shame Hodgson's back because Ratchford wasn't looking safe at Full back.

Can't wait for Saturday. COYB!

I was at the U20's last week at Wakey and Manase I thought run some hard yards, defence seemed solid and alert and looked fit, seemed to play for a long period but not sure of the actual minutes on the pitch. Also John Bateman played for a good 60 minutes and was really bossing the game and very vocal with his team mates (especially behind the sticks after numerous tries), led from the front and that is why it is even more of a credit to him for his performance against Wakey on Saturday. I will be there tonight for the U20's and I am hoping for an improved discpline, reduced error and better defencisive effort from the lads which has been the problem with the two defeats to date, come to think of it could be decribing the senior team!!!
