Jamie Langley is confident of being passed fit for this weekend’s Super League opener against Catalan Dragons after being KO’d by Lee Radford on Sunday.
The former Bulls team-mates clashed heads during the early exchanges of Radford’s testimonial at the KC Stadium, which Hull won 46-6.
Langley came off considerably worse from the collision but, aside from a few stitches to his face, there was no major damage.
The loose forward said: “I think I must have been out for a few seconds but once I hit the deck I came round.
“I had a few stitches to add to the collection but apart from that everything is okay.

“Radders and I had a laugh about it afterwards.
“That was his last-ever game of rugby league and I saw him in the stitching room after the game.
“It was just unfortunate how it happened. I got square on with him, there was a clash of heads, but these things happen in rugby league.”
Langley is relishing this Sunday’s visit of Catalan, who will have former Bradford favourite Leon Pryce in their ranks.
And he is confident there will nothing to stop him featuring against the highly-fancied French outfit.
Langley added: “Generally the case is that if you suffer concussion then you have to do a head test.
“But, because I didn’t suffer concussion or memory loss – and I was fully conscious for all bar a few seconds after the collision – I shouldn’t have to do one. I should be fine.”
However, young hooker Adam O’Brien will definitely miss Sunday’s opener after picking up an ankle injury at Hull.
Matt Diskin is nursing a calf problem but is hopeful of being passed fit.

I think Joseph has been offered a pay as you play deal. - Very interesting to see that not one club wanted to take Platt or Sykes when they were offered around. Cant blame the lads for staying put if there was no deal from anyone else. Doesnt look good for when the contracts are up for them.

Looking at the weather forecast it looks like the first game of the season is more likely to be Cas away. Well at least that may help the injury situation.
