The Bulls were brought crashing back down to earth at Warrington.

On a high after a 36-0 win against Huddersfield last time out, they were treated to a harsh dose of reality.

Patrick Ah Van put the kick-off straight out on the full and the Wolves went on the attack, Ryan Atkins powering past Ben Jeffries to score.

A second soon followed, Richie Myler and Ryan Atkins combining to send in Matt King.

The Bulls did their level best to turn the tide, both Paul Sykes and Matt Diskin held up over the line, but it was only temporary respite.

Warrington destroyed the Bulls' right edge twice more in quick succession, Atkins touching down off King's pass before provider turned scorer, King touching down thanks to a flat, cut-out pass from Myler.

Nick Scruton was the third Bull to come within a whisker of scoring when he was held up but Warrington touched down again, Joel Monaghan applying the finishing touch.

There was no let up in the second half, Hodgson scoring to cap a sequence of play started by his own break.

The full back doubled his tally six minutes later to leave the Bulls' chances in absolute tatters.

Joel Monaghan scored off a superb pass from Chris Bridge and then completed his hat-trick after intercepting from Herbert and running the length of the field.

Atkins completed his own hat-trick when King intercepted and raced 60 metres to set him up and grabbed a fourth following Patrick Ah Van's error.

Michael Monaghan logged try number 12 before Ah Van grabbed scant consolation in the final minute, intercepting Bridge's pass to score.
