Wigan provided a display befitting the reigning Super League champions as the Bulls suffered their second defeat of the campaign.

Mick Potter's side possibly deserved more for their efforts but just could not cope with the class of the Warriors, particularly full back Sam Tomkins.

The young England star was in impressive form as he consistently led the Bulls defence a merry dance and provided an attacking spark the Bulls lacked.

It was hardly surprising, considering Bradford were missing both first-choice half-backs but they battled gamely all the same.

Amos Roberts opened the scoring within ten minutes and Harrison Hansen extended their advantage soon after, when Chev Walker fumbled Paul Deacon's kick.

Thomas Leuluai shimmied through the defence to score before Tomkins had a hand in tries for both Liam Farrell and Darrell Goulding.

The Bulls provided a spirited response after the break and Elliott Whitehead claimed his fourth try in two games off the kick from Matt Diskin.

Patrick Ah Van also touched down, doing well to claim a crossfield kick from Paul Sykes but the Warriors then pulled away.

Roberts scored his second after a mistake from Ah Van, George Carmont capped a solid display with a try and Tomkins rounded off a tough afternoon for the Bulls.
