Kiss of death. 12-all, Reardon off with suspected Knee injury and Kopczak with suspected broken foot. Costly friendly.

Injuries can never be predicted. Let's hope they are not as serious as at first glance. It's better the Bulls are match-ready than to wrap them in cotton wool and only expose them when the conditions are right. It's going to be a long, tough season. Preparation is vital.

Shocker! The result was always of secondary importance to staying injury free. It is so frustrating that Bulls seem to pick up these injuries at will. Scully and Platt now Reardon and Koppy. If Reardon is serious it will quickly become obvious how weak that 3/4 line is and how short of quality cover they are. Tricky is dead right. The players cannot be wrapped in cotton wool and it was important to have a good hard game . Just shocking luck. On the positives it appears Ox created 2 trys and had a useful game. Having said all that I just got snippets from Radio Humberside and all they confirmed was that Bulls prop "Jason Crookes" had been carried off on a stretcher. Utter confusion.

Tough on Koppy but he's a young lad and will come back stronger. I wish him a speedy recovery. The Bulls are better primed at this stage than last year and I fully expect them to slay the Giants. It portends a very interesting season.
