Bulls aim to halt cup heroes

Mick Worrincy reckons the Bulls have it in them to repeat their Harlequins hot streak against Challenge Cup finalists Huddersfield Giants.

The second-rower was on the scoresheet as Bradford ran in seven tries to blitz the Londoners 42-18 last weekend.

Next up they face in-form Huddersfield, who are chasing a top-three finish to add to their big Wembley date.

“We had a good spirit before the game at Quins and were all ready for a good win,” said Worrincy.

“It’s positive what we did down there. It shows we can play and open up teams when we want to. We took good selection and good choices in attack.

“We’ll have a look at Huddersfield now and want to go straight out to try and do that again.”

Worrincy toasted his first return to former club Harlequins with a bizarre try after Paul Deacon’s penalty rebounded off an upright.

“We put in the kick chase and got lucky but I got a try that helped towards the end result and I’m happy with that,” he said, following his ninth touchdown of the season.

“It was good to see my mates – especially getting one over them as I could enjoy a laugh afterwards – but it was more important to get the two points. That’s the first one down.”

Meanwhile, the Reserve Team are in action against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Odsal tonight, kick-off 8pm.

Let's hope we meet a "Huddie" side "after the Lord Mayor's show" & then MAYBE we MAY win. The Bulls have promised so much this season TIME & TIME again & let everybody down ; so I shall not be holding my breadth this time , though I suppose MIRACLES are suppose to happen unexpectantly !?

I agree PWW you never can tell which Bulls side will show up.
I'm glad though you wont be holding your "breadth" this time as I believe you can get locked up for doing that !!!!!

Much conjecture. There's usually no smoke without fire but I'd wait for the official announcements before cracking the Champaign!

Wont only be that stops going in Burgess is sold.

Hey, I don't go to the games to please others, so I hardly care if I will be missed.

If Burgess is sold, that's the end of the Bulls. Trust me.

I, as well as many others no doubt, so hope Burgess is sold now that I have read this. Maybe then we will not have to lesten to the constant drivel that is poured out.
Do you buy matching socks and shorts??

What the fcuk get rid of jeffries and not sign another half back and keep deacs at the same time, we really would be going backwards with this course of action
