BRADFORD Bulls will host a fundraising masquerade ball next month.

The event will take place on Friday, May 4, from 7pm, at the Southbank Events Centre, Odsal Stadium in aid of two Bradford charities, One In A Million and Bradford Bulls Foundation. Both of the charities focus on engaging predominantly with disadvantaged children and young people, through Sports, the Arts and Enterprise, both organisations hope to raise funds to support the hard work done behind the scenes for the benefit of the younger generation.

Dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries, Masquerade Balls were costumed public festivities that were particularly popular in Venice. These magical and mysterious dances were held for members of the upper class and were highly popular events.

Warren Evans, chairman of the Bulls Foundation, said: "As a charity, we're really excited to be invited to the Masquerade Ball and to be working in partnership with two great organisations "The Bradford Bulls" and "One in A million" it's going to be a wonderful evening so why don't you join us and be part of something special."

The unique dinner will take place at the Southbank and the masquerade festivities will begin at 7pm with a three-course dining experience, cooked by Southbank’s talented chef.

Live entertainment paired with a dancefloor, a cocktail bar supplied with Bradford-branded drinks, a casino room and a charity auction all make for the perfect night for a good cause.
