Bradford Bulls gave new coach John Kear a winning start with a 22-6 victory over Halifax at Odsal.
They recovered from going 6-0 down to a third-minute try from Frazer Morris which was converted by Jordan Syme, to run in four tries of their own.
Liam Kirk barged his way over near the posts in the 29th minute with skipper Lee Smith levelling the scores with the conversion.
Smith also added the extras when Elliot Minchella scored the first of his two tries after a clever grubber kick.
Bulls built on their lead in the second half. Smith's dart scross the field led to a first try for new winger Dalton Grant.
Rowan Milnes kicked a penalty before Minchella grabbed the final try after good work from dummy half by Sam Hallas.
