Bradford Bulls 36 Featherstone Rovers 6
THE Bradford Bulls are celebrating after winning the inaugural Women's Super League Grand Final to complete a league and cup double.
Their captain Kirsty Moroney and player of the match Lois Forsell scored tries as the Bulls took an early lead before Featherstone hit back with a try from Georgia Roche.
Charlotte Booth's and two goals from Claire Garner helped Bulls to establish a 16-6 half-ime lead.
The Bulls stretched their lead in the second half with further tries from Garner, Amy Hardcastle, Charlene Henegan and Haylie Hields and two further Garner goals.
"It's sloppy conditions so we didn't play how we've been playing all season, but we still got the win," Moroney said.
"We set out to win some silverware but we didn't think in our wildest dreams we would go unbeaten through the season."
