JAMES Bentley has been named Kingstone Press Championship young player of the year.

The Bulls forward, who has been signed by St Helens for 2018, was crowned at a presentation evening in Manchester.

Toronto Wolfpack captain Craig Hall won the League One player of the year award and Whitehaven player-coach Carl Forster was named the division's top coach.

Hull KR and Toronto, who gained promotion in their inaugural season, were named clubs of the year for their respective divisions.
