BRADFORD Bulls have labelled their crunch game against Halifax on Sunday as “arguably the most highly anticipated fixture of the weekend” in the Kingstone Press Championship.

When announcing its squad on Friday, the club said the all West Yorkshire clash was a “derby that never fails to disappoint”.

Bulls fans described the mood around the club as “buoyant” after last week’s crucial 47-12 win against Oldham, and the team can expect a healthy following of away fans to make the short journey to the Shay.

The Bulls have 11 games remaining, and despite breaking a nine-game losing run last time out, they remain on zero points, ten adrift of safety.

Halifax go into the game sitting fifth in the league, only two points outside a place in the qualifiers.

The Telegraph & Argus has joined the club and sponsor Provident to ‘Back the Bulls’ in a bid to help roar the team to safety over the remaining weeks of the season, and tickets for Sunday's match remain on sale.

The ticket office at Odsal is open from 10am to 2pm on Saturday or tickets can be bought at the Shay before the game.
