FOLLOWING his official return this week, Dane Chisholm gives his thoughts on all things Bulls ahead of the Summer Bash in this Q&A:

* On the Summer Bash clash with Hull KR...

"I was with Tim Sheens at the Wests Tigers and I also played Hull KR twice in three weeks when I was at Sheffield, so I know how they play.

"It's going to be a tough game but training this week has been awesome and everyone has been buzzing. There's just an awesome feeling around the place, so hopefully the boys will rock up and we can really rip in.

"If you don't go into any game with belief that you can beat someone, then I don't think you should be playing. We've put a few plans in place that hopefully will shock Hull KR and we are just going to have to really turn up. It's a big task but I believe we can do a good job.

"Kieren Moss actually lives in the same apartment block as me, so I might try and put something in his food ahead of the game! It will be good to go against him though."

* On linking up at half back with Jordan Lilley...

"Me and Jordan have been getting on really well – we've been talking on and off the field about what we're going to be doing and it will be good to play with him. His style of football is very similar to mine and I think we're going to work together well.

"He's got a really good running game himself but I think he has pulled that back out of his game lately just because he's trying to control the team and get them moving around. But we've said that if we can take some heat off each other, it's going to open us both up."

* On being let 'off the leash'...

"I think at the beginning I'm going to come in and play as straightforward as I can – just lead the boys round and get a feel for the game.

"It's a completely different team to last year, so I'm going to try to control the game as well as I can. Off the back of that, maybe something will happen, but I'm not going out to pull off any miracles or anything – I'm just going out to do my job and help the boys out."

* On being back with the Bulls...

"I love the club and the fans have been so warming to me. I've got such a good group of mates here and I live around the corner. It's an awesome club and I'm just glad to be back here.

"Primarily though, I'm here to help us get out of this situation and I believe we'll definitely do that.

"There's a lot of young kids here but a lot of kids with talent, so I think we'll definitely be right at the end of the season."

* On improving – and beating the drop...

"Minus two sounds a lot better than minus 12, and that's what we started at when I wasn't here, so they've already done a pretty good job. Hopefully I can help and you never know what can happen – I strongly believe that we won't be getting relegated.

"We've spoken this week about things like back-to-back penalties or back-to-back dropped balls. If we can just respond well after anything bad happens, then we're straight back in the arm wrestle.

"Against London last week, I think it was 20-6 at one stage and their 20 points were just long-field efforts and not good tries. We were in it for that first bit but that's when heads start dropping – when it goes back-to-back – and that makes it feel a lot worse than it really is because of the scoreboard.

"So if we can cut out the back-to-back penalties and mistakes and we respond well, we'll be right."
