TRIALIST James Davies is set to be included in the Bulls squad for this weekend's Championship clash with Sheffield Eagles.

The former Hunslet Hawks forward, 23, has been out of the game for 18 months but has played rugby union this season for Morley.

He started his career in the Leeds Rhinos youth academy before moving to Australia for spells with Blacktown Rovers and Penrith Panthers under-20s.

Bulls acting coach Leigh Beattie said: "He is strong, a big unit, and he will definitely give us some 'go forward' if he plays.

"He asked for a trial and we decided to give him an opportunity. He has now had four sessions with us and trained okay, so we may give him a go this weekend."

Bradford will also boosted by the return of captain Leon Pryce, full back Oscar Thomas and French international back-row forward Kevin Larroyer for Sunday's game.

Pryce has missed the last two games with illness and knee trouble, Thomas has sat out the last three with a toe injury and Larroyer was pulled out of last week's defeat at Oldham due to a back spasm.

On-loan prop Daniel Murray is fully fit again after falling victim to a sickness bug just 20 minutes into the Oldham game.

James Mendeika is likely to need another week to recover from a foot problem and Ross Peltier (arm) will be sidelined for another two weeks.

Loose forward Thomas Doyle, meanwhile, has been charged by the Rugby Football League match review panel following a Grade B high tackle in the under-19s defeat to St Helens last weekend.
