JOE Keyes could miss the Bulls' trip to Oldham this weekend after suffering an ankle injury in training.

The former London Broncos half back was helped off the pitch by team-mates at Bradford Academy and club physios are now monitoring his condition.

His absence would be a blow for Bradford, who are also sweating over the availability of captain Leon Pryce.

Keyes kicked five goals in last weekend's 56-18 victory over Dewsbury Rams, where there were also signs of a blossoming half-back partnership between the Irish international and loanee Jordan Lilley.

Pryce, who has been playing at half-back this season, was forced to miss the game against Dewsbury due to illness. He has now shaken that off but has missed training sessions this week due to a niggling knee injury.

Acting coach Leigh Beattie, meanwhile, has confirmed that Leeds Rhinos prop Mikolaj Oledzki is unlikely to return to Bradford until clubmate Brad Singleton has completed a six-game ban.

Oledzki, still only 18, made a big impression after arriving on loan at the start of the season but was recalled by Leeds last week and played against the Bulls in an under-19s game.

Beattie says Leeds need Oledzki as cover for Singleton, who was given an extended ban for elbowing Catalans Dragons loose forward Greg Bird.

There is still no news on Samoan rugby union sevens player Phoenix Hunapo-Nofoa who agreed a 12-month deal with the club in February but whose employment has still not started due to legal complications.
