BULLS prop Jon Magrin insists that anything is possible this season if the team maintain their current level of performance.

Bradford are still bottom of the Championship table with seven games gone after being docked 12 points at the start of the season due to their financial affairs.

Yet Magrin says the Bulls, who have won four of their last five games, are not simply playing for survival.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's trip to Oldham, the prop revealed that there is a growing confidence in the dressing room and no limit to the extent of the side's ambition.

He said: "If we keep playing well and beating the teams we should beat, there is nothing stopping us. Everyone is beating everyone in this league and you never know which way the results are going to go.

"We just have to control what we can, win the games we need to win and who knows what could happen at the end of the season?"

Magrin scored two tries in last weekend's 56-18 victory over Dewsbury Rams and admitted it was vitally important to beat the only club in the division still without a victory.

"That was a huge game for us, as they had not won a game and they are one of the teams we are targeting to catch," he reflected.

"It was also the first time this season we have had really good conditions – a dry track and nice weather.

"I think you could tell the difference as we were getting quicker 'play the balls' and spreading the ball. We have got the talent to do that – but we just have not had the opportunity to showcase it.

"Every game from here on in is like a cup final to us and we have targeted to get rid of the deficit this month, so we are on track."

Magrin, who quit London Broncos to join the Bulls prior to the club's latest financial collapse, says there is definitely a stronger bond between the club's players as a result of the pre-season adversity at Odsal.

"Obviously, we lost a lot of players in the pre-season but the coaching staff and the backroom staff did a really good job in recruiting," said 22-year-old Magrin.

"On paper, we have got a really good squad and we have gone through everything together as a squad.

"You can see that on the field. If anything happens, we are all round each other and nobody's head goes down, which is really positive.

"Our goal is to stay up and do as well as we can in the league. From where we have come from to be getting back-to-back wins is such a good feeling."

The Bulls, meanwhile, are running the rule over former Hunslet Hawks forward James Davies, who has also played for Australian clubs Blacktown Rovers and Penrith Panthers.
