DEWSBURY Rams head coach Glenn Morrison has left the club following his side's defeat to the Bulls yesterday.
That 56-18 loss at Odsal was the Rams' sixth straight Kingstone Press Championship defeat this campaign, and proved to be the Australian's final game in charge.
Assistant coaches Karl Pryce and Jonathan Schofield have been named joint interim head coaches until a permanent successor to the former Bulls star is named.
Morrison said: āI want to thank the club for the opportunity and the years I have had here.
"We have had some successful seasons that Iām proud of, but unfortunately we just have not had the results required this season, and so I feel the time is right to part ways.
"I wish Mark Sawyer (Rams chairman) and the club all the success in the future.
"It has been an honour to have coached the Dewsbury Rams.ā
