LEIGH Beattie thinks it won't be long before Super League clubs start sniffing round the Bulls' starlets.

Ethan Ryan, James Bentley and Ross Oakes were all among the try-scorers in Sunday's convincing 44-22 win over Batley at Odsal.

Winger Ryan took his prolific senior tally to 24 tries in 20 appearances with a stunning effort, leaping in the air to stay in bounds and score in the corner.

Interim coach Beattie believes all the youngsters are improving fast and knows their progress will not be going unnoticed by the top teams.

He said: "I'm sure there is interest. You'd hope so. There are a few – James Bentley, Ross Oakes has come on immensely in the last few months and definitely Ethan.

"Bentley had a great dig (on Sunday) and Ethan scored that superb try. It was NRL stuff. It was unbelievable how he did it. But fair play to him, he's developing week in, week out."

Jamaican international Ross Peltier returned to the picture after fitness issues and Beattie noticed a difference.

He said: "Ross went a lot better. He's still got some stuff to work on defensively but he carried the ball strongly."

The Bulls are still waiting to hear whether any of the Leeds loanees will be allowed to feature in this weekend's Challenge Cup clash with Featherstone.

They will be particularly keen to have the services of Mikolaj Oledzki after the forward made several powerful runs in the rotation against Batley.
