FORMER England hooker Scott Moore wants to sign a permanent deal with Bulls.

Moore, who joined the Odsal club on a four-game trial last week, is currently the subject of a police investigation after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and theft.

He is due to answer bail two days before his fourth and final trial game for Bradford against Batley Bulldogs on March 12.

"Of course I would like to stay but let's see what happens," he said. "I just want to get back playing. It's the only thing that I have ever really known."

Moore, 29, was released by former club Wakefield last month and made his Bulls' debut in Sunday's win at Swinton Lions.

He is set to make his first home appearance against Toulouse Olympique this Sunday and will be joined by Salford prop Daniel Murray, who has arrived on a one-month loan.

According to Moore, the Bulls squad is desperate to wipe out the 12-point penalty imposed by the Rugby Football League in order to reward the loyalty of the club's supporters.

"It will be tough against Toulouse," he said. "I played against them last year for Wakefield and I know what they are all about. But we are at home this weekend and we have to keep winning to get those points back.

"I don't really know the ins-and-outs as I have not been here for the past few weeks or pre-season. But it has been nice to see they have loyal fans who have stuck with the club regardless of the turmoil they have been through over the last couple of months. It would be nice to repay those fans with wins and put some smiles back on faces."

Ironically, it is only two years ago that Moore broke the hearts of Bulls supporters by scoring a crucial try for Wakefield in the 'Million Pound' promotion play-off game at Belle Vue.

He is now getting used to 'banter' about his role in that game but insists he cannot be solely blamed for denying the Bulls a return to Super League!

"A couple of the boys won't let me forget that," he said. "They still haven't got over it.

"It's a long time ago now but what they don't actually realise is that Wakefield were already winning by two points when I scored so it didn't really matter."

The arrival of former Warrington prop Murray, 20, is yet another step in the right direction for the Bulls who also have ex-England winger Lee Smith, 30, preparing to make his debut against Toulouse.

Bulls co-owner Andrew Chalmers said: "Daniel is a great addition to the ever improving squad. He is a big forward who will look to cement a starting place in the team. With a full pre-season at Salford under Ian Watson, Daniel will be ready and raring to go."
