FORMER England hooker Scott Moore has signed for the Bulls on a four-game trial and could make his debut against Swinton Lions this weekend.

Moore, who has been training with the Bradford squad, parted company with Super League club Wakefield last month following his arrest in October on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and theft.

He is currently on bail until March 10 after an incident which began when Greater Manchester Police spotted a car driving at speed in Wigan. Police say they used a Taser during the incident and an officer allegedly suffered a broken wrist.

Moore, 29, made 19 appearances for Wakefield after initially joining on loan from Castleford in 2015.

Announcing his departure, by mutual consent, last month, Wakefield chairman Michael Carter said: "Both myself and Scott agreed a fresh start would be best for all concerned and I wish Scott good luck in the future."

Moore, who has also played in the NRL for North Queensland Cowboys, looks set be included in the Bulls squad announced tomorrow for their Kingstone Press Championship trip to Swinton.

With a CV that includes spells at St Helens, Huddersfield, Widnes and London Broncos, his arrival will be a major boost to the Bulls, who are on minus 12 points at the foot of the league table after defeats in their opening two games.

French international Kevin Larroyer is also set to make his debut for the club this weekend after arriving on a season-long loan deal from Castleford Tigers.

The highly-experienced second-rower joined Castleford after being released by relegated Hull KR at the end of last season.

The Tigers have an option to recall him after a month, in the event of an injury crisis, but it has been agreed that Larroyer would then return to the Bulls for the rest of the campaign.

Larroyer said: "To sign for Bradford is a great opportunity. I can't wait to get to training with the team and see what they can do. It's a team full of potential and they have a big future ahead of them.

"While I play there, I am going to give them my all and support them in every way I can, by teaching anything I can to the younger players as well as just playing as hard and fast as possible."

Bulls operations manager Russ Macfarlane added: "Kevin is a brilliant signing for the club, He has plenty of experience, which will benefit such a young team.

"The combined Super League experience with Leon (Pryce) will teach the younger players so much more to help them develop.

"Kevin is a strong forward that will take some of the slack off the rest of the team. This signing is an indication of where this club is heading and the potential that we still have to attract big names to play for the Bulls."

New coach Geoff Toovey, meanwhile, is still not in a position to officially work for the club due to a delay in obtaining the necessary paperwork.
