BULLS boss Rohan Smith admits his efforts to bolster his squad will never end.

The Australian has signed London trio Iliess Macani, Jon Magrin and Alex Foster as well as Leon Pryce, Jason Walton, Ross Peltier, Phil Joseph and Lachlan Burr.

Six academy graduates have also been promoted to the first-team squad for next season.

Blake Leary was linked with a move to Odsal but now looks set for a switch to Townsville Blackhawks, a feeder club for North Queensland Cowboys in the Queensland Cup.

Yet Smith remains on the look-out for further recruits and revealed some players who are under contract next season could head out on loan to other clubs.

"I'm always looking to reinforce the squad and that will never stop," said the Bradford head coach.

"Even if you think we are in the right place, you are never in the right place. If you feel comfortable with where you are, you end up going backwards.

"It's always about trying to go forward – but the roster isn't too far off from being where we want it at this point of time.

"In terms of next season, I've no doubt there will be players looking to go out on loan and chase opportunities elsewhere.

"We will keep our eyes open for potential opportunities to improve our roster down the track but I'm really excited with the guys we've signed up already."

Smith is working to a budget set by chairman Marc Green but the Australian insisted: "We've got a budget and will need to be pretty tight on that – but Marc's intentions are to give the team as much as he can.

"Obviously the more money comes from fans merchandise sales and sponsors, all that is going to get fed directly to the team.

"That is Marc's unselfish way of dealing with the operation of the club. He's putting his money into the team and it's not going into his pocket but into the team.

"It's building for the future of the club and all that can only help. There will be some players potentially move on as well, so that will enable others to come in."

Meanwhile, new recruit Joseph starred for Wales in their 20-14 win in Italy on Saturday which booked a place in next year's World Cup for John Kear's side.
