DALE Ferguson is aiming to carry his impressive end-of-season form with Bradford into the Four Nations with Scotland.

The forward has left Odsal after three seasons with the Bulls but he bade farewell on a winning note in the recent Championship Shield final.

Ferguson is returning to Huddersfield next term and will seek to reproduce the performances which marked him out as one of the best back-rowers in Super League in 2013.

The Giants claimed the League Leaders’ Shield that year before Ferguson moved across West Yorkshire to join the Bulls ahead of the 2014 campaign.

But his overriding focus is on helping Steve McCormack’s Bravehearts to make their mark on the upcoming tournament against Australia, England and New Zealand.

Ferguson, who starred for Scotland at the 2013 World Cup, said: “I've been at Bradford for three years and it's tough to leave.

“Odsal is an iconic stadium, the fans are class and we have had a great set of boys.

“But these things happen in rugby league and you move on.

“I wanted to leave Bradford in the right way and it was nice to play in the Championship Shield final in my final game.

“I was pleased with how I ended the season at the Bulls form-wise and I ended up playing in the middle a bit and coming off the bench to make an impact.

“I’m looking forward to ripping in with Scotland now against Australia and New Zealand because they are the best teams in the world.”

Paul Clough and Lee Gaskell have also lined up deals to join Huddersfield while Danny Addy and Mitch Clark are expected to be finally confirmed as Hull KR players shortly.
