ENGLAND Youth player Cameron Scott has signed for the Bulls’ academy side.

The highly-rated 16-year-old centre, who has played for the scholarship team for two seasons, scored three times over two games against France at the end of March.

Several Super League sides had declared an interest in the former Wyke ARLFC youngster and the Bulls are The highly rated centre earned a call up to the national side in December last year, before featuring for England in the test against France at the end of March, where he scored three times over the two games.

Bulls staved off interest from several Super League sides for his signature.

Scholarship head coach Leigh Beattie said: “Cameron joined us from Wyke and at the time he wasn’t favoured.

“He came with a baby face and now we’ve seen him mature physically, plus his skillset has also matured over the past few years.

“Getting selected for England was outstanding for him. He is great to coach and he’s really dug in and kicked on. Hopefully, he’ll kick on again in the next step of his career.”
