KURT Haggerty has signed a two-year deal extending his stay with the Bulls until the end of 2018.

The 27-year-old joined the Bulls in November and particularly impressed against his former side Leigh Centurions when he assisted three tries in the dramatic fightback.

Haggerty has also scored twice in his eight appearances as he grabbed a brace at the Provident Stadium versus London Broncos.

“I’m delighted to secure another two years of my future for my family and I at the club,” said Haggerty.

“I’ve got an 11 week old son so to get the security of another two years at Bradford is massively important to me.

“I now need to prove to Rohan what I am about. I’ve got more than a little bit of skill; I’ll work hard for the team and I’ll graft.

"So I need to show Rohan my qualities and hopefully I can get into his team and continue to try and show the fans what I can do.

“We’ve got a big game next week against one of my former clubs and I’m really looking forward to playing them at the Summer Bash and wearing the fantastic OddBalls shirt, which is for a great cause.”

“Kurt has really impressed since joining the club last November and we are delighted to have him at the club until 2018,” said Bradford Bulls Managing Director, Steve Ferres.

“He has a wide range of knowledge and brings an impressive skill set to his game, which he has displayed several times this season and we look forward to seeing in the future.”
