James Clare opened the scoring for the Bulls in tonight's friendly win

ACADEMY products Alex Mellor, Luke Hooley and Liam Kirk scored second-half tries as the Bulls saw off a youthful Castleford side at Odsal tonight.
James Clare and Omari Caro touched down inside the opening 10 minutes before Castleford replied shortly before half-time through Greg Minikin.
Yet the Bulls upped the tempo after the restart and scored through Mellor, Hooley and Kirk on a night when a whole batch of rookies were on display.
Rhys Jacks played scrum half and fellow trialist and Dan Caprice came off the bench in the second half as Bradford proved too strong for the visitors, who claimed a second try on the hour through Dec Sheehan before seeing Ryan Boyle sinbinned late on.
