JONATHAN Walker has joined the Bulls on a one-year contract after leaving Leigh Centurions at the end of last season.
The 24-year-old prop has over 50 Super League appearances to his name after his time with Castleford Tigers and Hull KR.
Walker, who is Bradford-born, will join up with his Scotland team-mates Danny Addy and Dale Ferguson at the Provident Stadium and hopes to play his best rugby in front of the Bulls fans.
“I’m buzzing to be joining the club. All my family are Bradford supporters and I’ve grown up watching the team. I can’t wait to get stuck in and make the fans proud,” said Walker.
“I wanted to move back home to Bradford and it seemed the right time to come here.
“I’m still young and I’ve still got my best years and best rugby ahead of me.
“I know a few of the lads; James Clare from my Castleford days and then Danny Addy and Dale Ferguson. I just hope Danny Addy will keep giving me passes to score from like he does with Scotland.
“I’m an aggressive player but I’m also a skilful one. I will look to offload but and I’ll carry hard if needs be.”
“We are delighted to have Johnny on board,” said Bulls managing director Steve Ferres.
“Johnny will add control and aggression to the pack. He will also add competition for places amongst the squad.”
