THE biggest crowd of the regular season is expected to pack in to the Provident Stadium tomorrow, with more than 7,500 tickets already sold to see James Lowes’ Bradford Bulls do battle with Leigh Centurions in their final home game of the regular season.

A crowd of 7,449 – the highest recorded outside of Super League and the Challenge Cup this campaign – attended the round one Kingstone Press Championship clash between the two sides at the Leigh Sports Village on the opening day of the 2015 campaign.

But Bulls officials are hoping to smash that figure this weekend, with pre-game ticket sales set to continue until 11.59pm today.

Chairman Marc Green said: “To have such a big crowd inside the Provident Stadium should make for a phenomenal atmosphere, setting us up nicely for the Super 8s.

“I would like to thank our supporters and the visiting Leigh fans for snapping up tickets well in advance of the game, which should be one to remember.”

The club has a bumper gameday in store for all those planning to turn out, with the Lawson Cup Final – contested between the Royal Engineers and Royal Artillery – getting underway from 12.15pm.

During the build-up, supporters will be able to enjoy a whole host of pre-match activities in and around the ground.

And supporters will be able to join players, staff and directors for a ‘party on the pitch’ following the full-time hooter.

Bradford supporters have helped set a host of ‘club record’ attendances this year while visiting opposition grounds.
