BULLS ace Danny Addy is gearing up for potentially the “biggest game of his life” in Scotland tomorrow night.

The back-rower will be a key player in the Bravehearts’ bid to win the European Championship – and automatically qualify for the next Four Nations tournament.

The prospect of rubbing shoulders with New Zealand, Australia and France in 2016 is a massive incentive going into the decider against France at Galashiels.

Addy said: “We had a taste of it in the World Cup when we played New Zealand and to be part of that would be massive.

“You’ve got the best players in the world battling it out in Australia at the moment. There’s so much class and quality on show.

“It’s a fantastic prize for us and we’re only 80 minutes away now. One more win and we’re there – this is going to be the biggest game of our lives.”

Scotland moved within touching distance of their first European crown after victories over Wales and Ireland.

Addy scored the third of their four tries in last weekend’s 25-4 win at the Tallaght Stadium but feels they have still not found top gear.

And he admits a major improvement is needed to overcome the physical test they can expect when France arrive north of the border.

Addy added: “They have been two good wins but we know we have to improve our performances.

“We’ve played well in patches but we have to put a full 80 minutes together.

“No matter who you are up against for France, you can expect a tough and physical game. They’re always a big, physical pack and we’ve got to muscle up.

“There’s going to be a good atmosphere playing at home and hopefully there will be a lot of fans there to cheer us on. We know what’s at stake.

“Usually we go into these tournaments as underdogs but this time there’s a bit more expectation after how well we did in the World Cup.

“We know we’ve got to be at our best for the France game but the incentive couldn’t be bigger. To be part of the Four Nations next time and have that experience of playing the best in the world would be brilliant.”
