JAMIE Foster admits he will always be a Bulls fan and plans to return to Odsal to support the team in the future.

The winger is preparing to finalise a cross-code switch to rugby union, with Worcester Warriors the favourites to snap him up.

But the former St Helens star says Bradford will always have a special place in his heart following his two-year stint at the club.

He is also convinced that, with the squad that has been assembled, Jimmy Lowes’ men will make an immediate return to Super League at the end of 2015.

Foster said: “As a player looking at things from the inside, I can only rave about how good this club is.

“They have been fantastic with me and they’re a great bunch of lads to play with.

“My family have loved it here and everyone who comes gets looked after.

“The fans are absolutely second to none and as good as anyone I’ve seen in Super League.

“They deserve better and I think next year they’re going to get that.

“Marc Green is a man who is going to put his money where his mouth is, so to speak, and I think that’s nothing short of what the Bradford Bulls deserves.

“But I’ll always be keeping my eye on Bradford because it has been a big part of my life these past two years for me and my family.

“I’ll certainly be coming back to watch some of my very good mates at Odsal in the coming years.”

Foster is poised to secure his move to rugby union shortly and revealed he has passed on tips on his goalkicking technique to his Odsal team-mates.

He added: “Rugby union is a lot about kicking and that’s something that fits the bill for me.

“I’ve been giving a few tips over the last few weeks to the lads who are staying, such as Danny Addy, and hopefully he can step up and do what I’ve been doing.

“It’s something I’ve been doing for a very long time and there is going to be even more pressure on me doing it next year because I’ll be in the spotlight doing it at that level.

“But I’m ready for it and I’m looking forward to it, so hopefully it all works out.”
