MATT Diskin is hoping the Bulls can produce a “world-class superstar” from their latest batch of talented youngsters to sign professional contracts.

Lewis Ainley, Isaac Farrell, Brandan Wilkinson, Josh Rickett, Zak Baker, James Bentley, Cameron Connolly, Matthew Crimes and Daniel Lee – the son of former Super League star Jason Lee – have been promoted from the club's Under-16s Scholarship side to the Under-19s side for 2015.

Diskin, who was recently appointed as the club’s new Under-19s coach following his retirement, will nurture the crop of talented teenagers along with new head of youth John Bastian.

The former Leeds hooker said: “It is fantastic to welcome such an enthusiastic set of boys into the Under-19s setup for 2015 and hopefully beyond.

“The hard work will begin very soon for these youngsters, who I believe will benefit from being around our Tong training facilities on a more regular basis.

“Hopefully these guys will go on to achieve great things in the game.

“We have some incredible resources at our disposal here and it is all about making use of them to help aid the progression of our rising talents.

“Our aim is to obviously unearth another world-class superstar and I am looking forward to working with John and our support staff in order to do so.”

The Bulls Academy is supported by The Big One – the club's official lottery.

The Big One has helped raise over £800,000 to support the youth system and already boats over 3,500 members, following its relaunch earlier this year.
