JIMMY Lowes' squad was all but completed tonight after the Bulls unveiled five new signings, taking the club's 2015 roster to 29.

Jay Pitts, Jean-Philippe Baile, Samir Tahraoui, Lucas Walshaw and Paul Clough were announced as the latest recruits at the 'An Evening with the Bulls' event.

Pitts, 24, has agreed a new two-year deal, making his move from Hull FC permanent.

Walshaw, Clough and Tahraoui have also each agreed two-year contracts, joining from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, St Helens and Whitehaven respectively.

Baile, meanwhile, arrives from Catalan Dragons after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal, with an option of a second term at the Provident Stadium.

Lowes, who worked with Pitts during his time at Leeds Rhinos, says the talented second-rower has earned the right to sign permanently.

"I am really pleased to have secured Jay, a young player who is already performing at a high standard," said Lowes, who is still searching for a scrum half to complete his squad.

"Jay has impressed throughout the course of this season and has potential to improve further."

Baile, 27, can operate in the centres and in the back row.

"Jean represents a brilliant capture for the club as he is a great player with a really aggressive attitude towards the game," said the Bradford boss.

"When we discovered he was available we jumped at the chance to sign him and believe he will prove a real coup.

"I like the way he approaches the game, I like his commitment and he is another strong addition to our squad for next year."

Tahraoui, 23, who has been a stand-out performer for Kingstone Press Championship club Whitehaven this season, will be a Bulls player until at least the end of 2016.

The 6ft 6ins, 19st 6lb powerhouse has previously enjoyed spells with Swinton Lions, South Wales Scorpions and Australia's Tweed Heads Seagulls.

"I am really looking forward to working with Samir, as he is an absolutely massive player and I am sure he will prove explosive next season," said former Warrington coach Lowes.

"He was at Warrington when I was there, so I know what attributes he can bring to the club ahead of a challenging campaign next term."

Walshaw, 22, has previously appeared at second row, loose forward and centre and will prove a key addition, according to Lowes.

"Lucas is a another sizeable recruit, who will offer us versatility along with bags of potential," he said.

"He is a great player and, upon meeting with him, I saw he had an attitude to match his ability, which is a massive factor for me.

"He is very hungry to make a name for himself at Bradford and, I reckon, he has all the tools to do so."

Clough, 26, arrives as the 14th new addition to Lowes' new-look roster.

A former grand finalist with home-town club St Helens, Clough has spent the majority of this season as a Widnes Viking.

Lowes believes the front-rower's experience and leadership skills will be vital, saying: "Paul is another fantastic signing for the club.

"I think he will be a real leader for us in the pack next season, while offering a lot of guidance for some of our younger guys."

Pitts, Clough, Walshaw, Baile and Tahraoui will begin pre-season training with their new team-mates next month.
