Jamal Fakir is poised to make his debut for the Bulls after being named in their 19-man squad for Sunday’s home clash with Oldham in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

The France prop this week joined the club on a deal until the end of the season and looks certain to feature in the fourth-round tie.

Dale Ferguson is also back in contention, having recovered from a back injury ahead of schedule, and could make his competitive bow for the Bulls.

Loanees Anthony Mullally and Danny Bridge are cup-tied, while fellow forward Tom Olbison is ruled out through suspension.

As a result, rising stars Nathan Conroy, Alex Mellor and Sam Bates are included in Francis Cummins’ squad.

Bulls’ 19-man squad: Danny Addy, Sam Bates, Matty Blythe, Nathan Conroy, James Donaldson, Jamal Fakir, Dale Ferguson, Jamie Foster, Luke Gale, Adam Henry, Elliot Kear, Brett Kearney, Manase Manuokafoa, Alex Mellor, Adam O’Brien, Adrian Purtell, Oliver Roberts, Chev Walker, Sam Wood.
