An RFL disciplinary panel has ruled that Nick Scruton’s challenge on Castleford scrum half Gareth O’Brien was legal
Nick Scruton is clear to play against St Helens at Odsal on Saturday after winning his appeal against suspension.
The Bulls prop was accused of making a reckless shoulder charge on Castleford scrum half Gareth O’Brien in the fourth minute of his side’s 38-12 win over the Tigers on Saturday.
But the RFL disciplinary panel tonight ruled that Scruton’s first contact with O’Brien was legal and that a suspension was unnecessary.
