Bulls coach Francis Cummins has admitted the acquisition of a new prop could complete his squad for next season.

James Donaldson yesterday became the latest player to sign up for the 2013 campaign when he put pen to paper on a one-year deal.

Four other out-of-contract players – Chev Walker, Manase Manuokafoa, Jarrod Sammut and Danny Addy – have also penned fresh terms and three new faces have been signed in Matty Blythe, Ben Evans and Jamie Foster.

Furthermore, teenage trio Curtis Naughton, Oliver Roberts and Sam Wood have been added to Cummins’ squad for next season.

The recruitment of a new prop is now a priority following the departure of Bryn Hargreaves, Tom Burgess and Craig Kopczak.

Cummins said: “We’re looking to get a frontline prop and we’re probably on the budget then.

“If I do get the prop then I’ll be more than happy with where we are with the squad at this stage of the season.

“With the signings we’ve made so far, we’re creeping up to 23 players in the first-team squad. That becomes 26 with Sam, Curtis and Oliver.”

Cummins has told Dewsbury coach and former Bulls forward Glenn Morrison that he can make no guarantees about which players may be allowed to play at the Championship club next season.

The Bulls have entered into a partnership agreement with the Rams but Cummins added: “I’ve told Glenn where we are as a squad but, given we’re up to 26 players, there are going to be some players available to him.”
