Megan Potter enjoyed an emotional reunion with husband Mick in Australia this week after admitting she was ready to return home.

She continued in her role as ticket office manager for seven weeks after the former Bulls coach flew back Down Under to secure the Wests Tigers job.

An occupational therapist by trade, Megan could now seek to enter that line of work again after two stints at Bradford and St Helens.

“I worked at the Bulls during Mick’s first spell at the club,” she said.

“The players used to train at Rawdon Meadows and I worked there on a part-time basis, doing administrative work for the coaching staff.

“After Mick left St Helens, we got the opportunity to come back to Bradford and we took it because we knew what a great club it was.

“The way everyone rallied round this year showed that but I’m extremely pleased to be going home.

“Knowing that Mick has got a job makes it a little bit easier. I’ve got other opportunities out there myself but it might be an occupational therapist job.”

The Potters’ sons Nathan and Chris live in Australia and daughter Peggy is currently looking for a job in England after graduating from university.

Megan is confident the Bulls can move forward under new owner Omar Khan and coach Francis Cummins.

“There is still a decent core there for Francis to work with, including some great players and great people,” she said.

“Omar Khan and Gerry Sutcliffe are good men and they’ve got a lot of people working hard to help the club.”
