Ainscough confirms his departure from Bradford Bulls
11:11am Monday 29th October 2012 in Bulls
By Simon Parker, Bradford City Reporter
Shaun Ainscough
Winger Shaun Ainscough today announced that he is quitting the Bulls.
Ainscough revealed on Twitter that he will be heading for Australia, as previously reported in the Telegraph & Argus. He admitted the decision was down to money, saying the club had offered him a lower wage than last year.
Ainscough said: “I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life and try my luck in Australia playing rugby. I never knew things would end up like this.”

its a shame.... a shame that we went from 2 of the best / biggest wingers in the whole of rugby league, to worrying about loosing 2 of the smallest (crookes / Ainscough)

Good luck and all the best Shaun you had plenty of heart and determination.

Foster will regret joining and wont get many shots at goal due to not scoring many trys.

just a thought. only 2,500 season tickets sold so far. What on earth has happened to all those so called good supporters who were so quick to snap up tickets when they were cheap? Always said they were a lot of freeloaders. Seems we have gone from being one of the best supported teams in S/L to one of the worst.
will be a struggle to run a S/L team on these sort of figures.

seems a nice lad, but too frail in defence for my liking. just a thought. only 2,500 season tickets sold so far. Wakey have sold nearly twice as many, seems the rat breeders are done before they start, should have got a club like Fev in to the league, at least they have a history.

But it was strange that given the choices the two coaches (MP and FC) always went for other players for the wing spot.
Logic appears to suggest there was a problem in the off field situation. Which is the only answer I could feasibly think of to explain the reason he wasn't really offered a contract to stay with the club.
ie A way of offloading a player is often to offer less money?? However we may never know.
But he is in my opinion a good and dedicated player, extremely watchable and likeable..Good Luck Shaun.
