The gaffer has thrown down the gauntlet for the lads with his comments that he can't wait for the season to end.
He has got a rebuilding job to do and wants to get on with it.
By his own admission he didn't know too much about this level when he came in.
Now he's had a good look and knows what is needed. There are a lot of players out of contract so it's inevitable some will move on.
The lads have to use the rest of the games to put their names at the top of the list when he is drawing up a new squad.
Unfortunately, our play-off hopes are near enough dead in the water so the pressure is off a little bit. But it's an opportunity for us to go out and express ourselves a bit and reward the fans for the fantastic level of support we've been getting all season.
I remember games here against Brentford and Bournemouth at this time of the season when we've really put on a show with big wins and it would be good to do that again and take some confidence into next season.
We've got a tough game at Rotherham first. Having experienced administration myself, it can bring the players together and getting out on the pitch is a welcome release from the uncertainty going on.
The home game was the best of the season and I'm sure we can expect similar on Saturday.

Whilst watching all three Finals, I made a silent wish. My wish was granted the very NEXT season when 'City' went to Wembley for the 'Play Off Final', and were promoted.
This Wednesday(19-03-08)I was touring around the 'New' Wembley. We were asked to shout as loud as we could,to witness the superb accoustics. I shouted "BRADFORD CITY" at the top of my 'Parade Ground' very loud voice.
It reverberated around the Stadium, and resonated in the top seating areas, where we were sitting.
We were taken up to the 'Royal Seating'area, to receive the 'F A Cup'.
Whilst my Son photographed me 'Lifting the Cup' ( No, not stealing it!, and we could only put our hand on to the handle of the Cup!).
(I made my second wish at the New Wembley.)HUSSSHHHH!
The dressing rooms at Wembley, are the best I have ever seen.
Special warm up rooms, large overhead lockers, special stud friendly rubber flooring and seperate individual HAIRDRYERS!-To assist 'The Managers', in delivering their Half Time little team talks!!
I sat in the Managers Chair in the Special Press room. Designed like a private cinema with luxury seating and translators windows, large flat screen TV's etc.
I was invited to sit in The England Managers Chair, in the plush press room.
The tour party fired questions at me, as we had just lost the friendly against France. I could not answer their angry interrogations,as I explained "I NO SPEAKA DA LINGO YET!"
"BUT 'BECKS' GOTTA DE 'CAP'-NO?!"

If any of the current squad, want to go to Wembley Next Season, in the 'Second Division Play Off Finals'. THE DRESSING ROOMS ARE BETTER THAN ANY I HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY ARE BOTH EXACTLY THE SAME. AND THE FOYER CONGREGATING AREA, WHERE YOU LEAD OUT ON TO THE PITCH, IS WIDE ENOUGH TO SIZE UP THE OPPOSITION, FROM A WIDE DISTANCE!.
The Pitch is better than the best grass bowling greens in the world.
Because the Dressing Rooms are completely sound proofed.
The crowd sound, hits you like a brick wall travelling at 100 miles an hour, when you walk out on to the superb 'Bowling Green' Pitch.
If any of our current squad, want to be at Wembley, at the end of next season. YOU NOW KNOW, WHAT YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE-NOW!; AND WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT, BECAUSE YOU DESERVE TO BE THERE!.
