WHAT a big few days we have coming up with games against Sheffield United and Bristol City.

It’s going to be a tough challenge taking on those two but a great chance for us to stand up and be counted.

As I’ve always said, if we perform as I know we can then we can beat anyone in this league – home or away.

Sheffield United is another massive local derby and we’re raring to go after the disappointment of losing at Barnsley.

There’s going to be a big crowd at Valley Parade and a great atmosphere in front of the TV cameras. If that doesn’t get the players up for it, I don’t know what will.

We know the second half against Barnsley didn’t go to plan. We made such a good start and everyone was happy to be ahead at half-time.

Unfortunately they got that early goal in the second half and that didn’t help at all. Rozzer was unlucky heading into his own goal after their lad puts his arms on him and put him off.

It’s one of those where sometimes the ref gives the foul but he didn’t on that occasion.

But once they scored, we stopped passing the ball as a team. We couldn’t really push up the pitch as a back four because we weren’t stringing passes together so we got pushed deeper.

It was disappointing because our away form has been so good. It wasn’t an ideal way to play the second half and the manager made us well aware of his thoughts about it.

His approach never changes. He wants to see sweat on the shirt and players giving everything.

At least we are still in the same position and didn’t drop down the table.

There’s no better game than tomorrow’s for us to bounce back and put things right. It should be great to watch.

We haven’t won as many games as we should but this is a great opportunity to give one of those old-fashioned Bradford home performances.

If everyone in the team goes out there and really works their socks off, then I’m sure we can get the result to send the fans home happy.
