Ricky Ravenhill column: What can we say? We’re ticking every box other than putting the ball in the back of the net.

We can’t put our finger on why not but it’s just not dropping for us at the moment. Something just isn’t happening in front of goal.

We’ve just got to keep going and I’m sure our luck will turn. As I keep saying, sooner or later somebody’s going to get a hammering.

You get times like this as a footballer. I’ve been in teams when the same thing has happened.

It’s so frustrating but you have to keep battling through because there will be a turning point when everything suddenly changes.

It’s important you stay strong mentally and keep putting the ball in the right areas. Don’t try anything different and keep doing the right things that we did earlier in the season when we were scoring goals.

As soon as you get one or two, the floodgates will open again.

It’s been the same story for the past few weeks. Every draw feels like a couple of points dropped.

We’re dominating games, creating chances, keeping the ball and passing it. Everything is there except the goals.

Defensively we’re looking really solid with three clean sheets in four games. It’s all there with one exception.

We’re ready to do it all again on Saturday at Exeter. We keep saying we need to start winning but then you look at the table and see that we’re still not out of it.

The main thing is that we concentrate on putting in the best performance we can, doing everything we have been and hopefully add the goals to top it off.

We want to take this season as far as we can. If it’s good enough at the end then brilliant, if not then so be it but we’ll give it everything.

It’s nice for myself to be back in the team. I’ve had to be patient this season and I’ve had injury and suspension so it’s been frustrating in a lot of ways.

But I’ve trained hard and done what I’ve been asked to do and the gaffer has put a bit of faith in me now.
