Ricky Ravenhill column: You don’t usually expect to see TV crews from Denmark and Japan at the ground!

It’s been a surreal week but it makes everyone feel a bit special.

We’re all enjoying it and trying to take everything in but can’t let the hype take over the task in hand at Wembley.

The gaffer has done well to break the week up with different days off. With us having to wait until Sunday for the game, he’s made sure we’ve got the down time as well.

But when we’re in training, it’s been pretty full on.

Nobody is pulling out of anything, the gaffer’s been telling us to calm down a little bit at times because a few tackles are going in.

You want to train properly. If you want to feel fit and raring to go, you have to go in full tilt – you train as you play.

Nothing stupid has gone on obviously but you still have to put your foot in and make proper tackles.

You need the right tempo in training otherwise it’s too slow and unrealistic.

We’ll be ready for Swansea and will go into it with the same approach from the other rounds. And who knows?

If we’re on our game and they’re not quite at the races then maybe we could be lifting that trophy on Sunday.
