These staff at Accord Mortgages in Bradford showed their support for the Bantams’ footballing heroes by organising a charity fundraising day.
Employees at the intermediary lending subsidiary of the Yorkshire Building Society took part in a claret and amber-themed dress-down day to mark City’s appearance in the Capital One Cup final.
They also decorated desks and organised raffles, quizzes and collections in aid of Bradford Royal Infirmary’s Burns Unit – raising £377.
Natasha Saripo, new lending team manager at Accord, said: “City have done so well to get to Wembley and we wanted to mark the occasion and raise some money for a great cause at the same time.
“Everyone has really got behind the idea and the office looked brilliant.”
Helen Wilson, new lending case manager at Accord and a season ticket holder at Valley Parade, added: “We’ll keep some of the decorations up until the match itself – then hopefully we’ll have some silverware to celebrate as well.”
