Irish band The Corrigan Brothers have become the ‘Carl McHugh Brothers’ to honour the Bradford City Capital One Cup hero.
The band – who wrote a spoof of their song ‘There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama’ called ‘There’s no team as Wembley as Bradford City’ – are wearing masks showing the defender’s face to help raise money for the Bradford Burns Unit.
Lead singer Ger Corrigan said: “The masks are really high quality and we are thrilled to become the Carl McHugh Brothers for the week. I think the Swansea goalkeeper will be spooked by the masks if the game goes to penalties!”
