Chris Fenton in Australia has this message for Bradford City:
"I would just like to wish all my family and friends in Bradford travelling to London to watch the Bantams a very safe journey and I hope you all have a very special weekend.
"Be safe, be good and enjoy the moment. For every supporter, be it new, old, seasoned or glory, I hope Bradford City raise the trophy high on Sunday for you all.
"Faith has rewarded you with a trip to London, belief may now see your team walking up the steps of Wembley as cup winners.
"I hope the 56 fans, sadly no longer with us, are angels on the shoulders of giant killers.
"A special mention goes to my sister Nicola Parker who, like most others, has watched her beloved team through all the good AND all the bad.
"I wish I could be with her on Sunday just to see how happy seeing Bradford City walk out at a league cup final would make her.
"My heart will always be red and I'd love nothing more than hearing the City fans sing You'll Never Walk Alone but on Sunday for at least 90 mins I'll be 100% CITD.
"C'MON YOU BANTAMS!!!!!!! KNEES ARE GETTING TREMBLY!!!!!!"

am I going to be the only one wearing a city scarf going north on the M1 on Sunday?! Me and my girlfriend couldn't get tickets so we're driving from London to Bradford to take my Dad out to watch it. Anyone know which pubs / bars will be good for atmosphere and space (getting a seat - my Dad's 83 and his brother was on City's books in the late 40s).
City Vaults in town or or Old Tramshed at Saltaire are first thoughts.
Come on lads. Step up to that plate, embrace it and enjoy it. What a glorious day it's going to be.

"However as you can see he is a far way from home having booked a once in a lifetime eight week trip to Austrailia and New Zealand some 18 months ago never dreaming that the Bantams would get to a major cup final.
"He is obviously gutted not to be able to go to Wembley and as we were leaving Villa Park he was pricing up flights from Oz and back again but at a cost of £7,500 and a costly divorce he decided against it!
"Anyhow the rest of the Baxters will be at Wembley in force to cheer the Mighty Bantams on!"

Christopher Binns, of East Morton, emailed this picture of his daughter's boyfriend Tom - an Argentinian in Buenos Aires - in his Bantams' shirt.
He said: "During the late 1990s our daughter Charlotte, as a pupil at what was then Gilstead Middle School Bingley became, along with us regular supporters at Bradford City thanks to a scheme run jointly between the school and the football club.
"Many years later during a gap year after university travelling around New Zealand, Charlotte met her boyfriend Tom, an Argentinean from Buenos Aires.
"She now lives in that fantastic vibrant and very clean city at the other side of the world.
"In September last year we had the pleasure of travelling down there to meet Tom and his parents for the first time.
"The question arose as to what kind of gift would appeal to a football mad Argentinean.
"I hit on the idea of buying a Bradford City away shirt complete with his name on the back along with the number 5, the position he normally plays.
"It turned out my choice of gift was a complete success as Tom wears his Bradford City shirt with pride around Buenos Aires.
"To be honest he had never heard of Bradford let alone Bradford City - although he and his friends are avid Premier Division followers.
"Well they have heard of Bradford City now and they will be cheering on Bradford City from the other side of the World when they play Swansea at Wembley."
12:20pm

"My brother Tony Brewster was there at Valley Parade on the day of the fire and on the Monday his picture, between the goalposts, was printed in the T&A as his 'sheepskin coat smouldered' and he protected a lady from the heat.
"Please post this as my brother is and has been a life-long Bantams and City Gent fan....
"My brother is is 60 years old and never has his support waned in all these years.
"He still doesn't talk about that day of the fire... ask the players to give my brother one of the greatest days of his life and win that cup so I can see him smile in a way no-one will ever know.... good luck City on Saturday."

Rarely-seen footage of Bradford City’s 1911 FA Cup victory against Newcastle has been released by Yorkshire Firm Archive as it backs Bantams’ bid to lift the Capital One Cup on Sunday.
One four-minute clip showing the first match, a goalless draw at Crystal Palace’s London ground on April 22 1911, was donated to the York-based archive by a private individual.
And a two-minute video, acquired from the Imperial War Museum, shows scenes from the replay at Manchester United’s then recently-opened ground at Old Trafford - including the reaction of City players after Jimmy Speirs’ 15th minute headed winner, which secured the historic victory in front of a 58,000-strong crowd on April 26, 1911.

"I have fond memories of Valley Parade and going to to the games with my friend, Mick Brannen. My City hero in those days was Bobby Webb who, to me, was the Stanley Mathews/ Paul Gascoigne of his day.
"I get emotional just thinking of what City have accomplished this season.
"Thanks to my cousin's boys I'll be at Wembley on Sunday.

ARE YOUR (MAIN) EMPLOYERS --WELSH and FROM THE SWANSEA AREA ??.( Or 'WEEDS' Supporters etc.)
*
THAT IS DISGRACEFUL. It smacks of malicious bias, and a very nasty threat. If it could be deemed contrary to your employment, contracted terms and conditions.
*
I feel under Employment Law--you could have a case against your " 'Bradford' Based Contractors. If you can seek legal advice immediately. Talk to Citizens Advice . Google Solicitors who operate the Legal Aid Schemes. If you can get advice now, you will be possibly be able to counter your employers threat.
*
Last resort --go sick now. Get a Dr.'s
note for the next week to cover Sunday.
Under Current Employment Law- I feel sure your Employer is in serious trouble, for issuing this threat to your employment.

Please let's ensure a minutes applause at the 56 minute mark. I have a tear in my eye just thinking about it. This final is as much for the 56 people that lost their lives as it is for the fans going on Sunday.
Let's dare to dream one more time.

Does anyone know any genuine city fans who may want to buy two tickets at face value. 72 quid each block 128. Just a thought will contact club in morning to see if they can give them a new home.
