Bradford City's Capital One Cup heroes visited an Ilkley designer men’s clothing shop yesterday to collect their Wembley suits.

The League Two side has signed a sponsorship deal with bespoke tailoring firm Simon Carter of London, whose customers have included A-listers Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr, Jack White and Jonathan Ross.

Last week members of Phil Parkinson's squad were measured for outfits prior to their cup final clash against Premier League Swansea.

Yesterday, three of the players accompanied manager Phil Parkinson and his assistant Steve Parkin to Simon Carter’s shop in the Crescent Court Yard, Ilkley, to collect them.

Mr Parkinson said: “I'm so pleased that a strong brand such as Simon Carter has offered to kit out the lads with such great quality tailoring.

“This is a momentous occasion for both club and community.”

IMO a visit to the Tailor for a real fitting shirt and suit is one of the best experiences of the modern man, that twinned with a visit to a good old fashioned barber for a chat and a coffee! Makes you feel that little bit more important. I am sure the lads will look dapper and feel that little bit more special on the big day, win or loose they deserve a little bit of attention!

I genuinely could not think of anything worse than wearing a suit, regardless of the occaasion. But thats my opinion.
