Bradford City’s Capital One Cup heroes got a taste of the celebrity lifestyle as a tailor to Hollywood stars measured them up for their Wembley suits.

Members of Phil Parkinson’s squad were yesterday suited and booted for their cup final clash against Premier League Swansea, courtesy of bespoke tailoring firm Simon Carter of London.

The League Two side has signed a sponsorship deal with the London-based company, whose customers have included A-listers Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr, Jack White and Jonathan Ross.

As his players were getting kitted out in their outfits for the showpiece event at Valley Parade yesterday afternoon, Bradford City manager Mr Parkinson said: “I'm so pleased that a strong brand such as Simon Carter has offered to kit out the lads with such great quality tailoring.

“This is a momentous occasion for both club and community. It's great to have so much support.”

Mr Carter, who has collections in department stores and independent retailers in 35 countries around the world, said he was ‘delighted’ to be dressing Bradford City’s players for their cup final day.

“Their route to Wembley has been heroic and a true underdog success story,” he said.

Meanwhile, the club this week started to post out its first batch of tickets for the final in London on Sunday, February 24.

Over the next seven days, it hopes to send out all the tickets that have been sold to season ticket and flexicard holders so far in the Bradford end of the stadium since tickets went on sale last Wednesday.

Any fans who have not received their tickets by Wednesday, February 13, should contact the Bantams Ticketing Helpline on 0871 978 8000 or by e-mail at wemb ley@the-bantams.co.uk.

More details about how many tickets have been sold are expected to be released by operations manager David Baldwin after Saturday, February 9.
