Zavon Hines got the nod to take over for the injured Kyel Reid at Dagenham today.

With City facing up to six weeks without their influential winger, Phil Parkinson handed Hines the chance to make the left flank his own.

Hines was picked over Garry Thompson, the other contender for the role, who was once again on the bench.

Gary Jones did not make the trip as he continues to be laid up with a back injury.

The extra substitution berth went to young striker Adam Baker.
